This isn't intentional. It's a bug introduced by 78cf2fda41a919 [1].
Thanks for reporting it! It is fixed by commit eab4126e03a042 [2] in the
git version now.

You can temporarily switch to the git version or wait for the next
stable release. Maybe we can release 0.5.1 soon; in some days? There
are already some bug fixes since 0.5.0.
