Welcome to the herbstluftwm devel mailing list

Hi everybody,

I would like to welcome all subscribers to the herbstluftwm development
mailing list[1]!

The idea behind this mailing list is to provide a more official and
better archived[2] platform for patch submission, discussions (about
features, bugs, ...) and release announcements than the IRC channel[3].

The IRC channel still is the right place for instant support and for
further discussions. But you don't have to read it to get important
announcements (e.g. about releases or incompatible updates like the
frame_gap this week).

You may have noticed these annoying advertisements that are added to
each mail by the mailing list system. I am sorry \ that I did not check
that before registering the list. You can get rid \ of the footer ad by
filtering it using some procmail rules[4]. \
                                                    \
Keep on hacking! \
                                                      \
Best regards, \
Thorsten \
                                                         '-----------.
